Std. V & VI 2024
Students of Std. 5th & 6th enjoyed learning with fun in their educational trip to Nehru Planetarium at Worli and Discovery of India museum. They explored the amazing solar system, gained knowledge about the different planets and experienced the ‘sky theatre’. In the museum, the students saw many artefacts and beautiful paintings, pictures of freedom fighters, studied about evolution of mankind, read about famous monuments and temples.

The Inter House Quiz competition was conducted with the objective of evaluating the general knowledge of students,current affairs, reading skills and to develop a sense of confidence in them. Students from Std. VI to IX from each house participated. The Quiz consisted of 9 rounds namely Current Affairs,Science, Quiz time, Riding with the Riddles,Check your Vocabulary, News in Clues,Picture Round of Famous Personalities, Identify the Flags and the last most exciting round was Rapid Fire.
It was an exciting, fun and enjoyable Quiz Contest. The students had fun participating. It broadened their horizon and the audience too gained valuable knowledge. The programme was graced by our Director Education Mrs. Kashmira Gundevia, Principal Mrs. Joan D’Mello and Staff Members.

Day Celebration
Sir J. J. Fort Boys’ High School elected their Student Council members for the academic year 2024-25 on 15th July i.e. the birth anniversary of Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy who was the founder of the school. He was the source of inspiration to the newly appointed Student Council to fulfill their duties and responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. Prize Distribution ceremony was also held to felicitate the toppers of SSC exam. Trustees, Director Education parents and teachers everyone attended the programme.

Every year our students participate in the prestigious Tata Marathon Run. It was held on Sunday, 19.1.2025 from 8 am in the morning.

The Hackathon event aimed to encourage students to devise technical solutions to real-life problems. Our school proudly participated in this event with two students from Std. VIII – Sanskar and Thanvarshan under the guidance of our Computer Teacher – Ms. Khushbu Darji. The team developed two innovative projects: Blind Stick and Smart Dustbin.
On 27th February 2025, Marathi Language Pride Day was celebrated at Sir J. J. Fort Boys High School. The program was organized by Mrs. Lata Sagvekar and Mrs. Seema Thorat.
Students of classes V, VI, VII and VIII participated in the programme. It started with a prayer. After that, the students presented speeches, songs, inspirational poems and humorous poems. The audience participated by answering the crossword puzzles and proverbs asked. The programme concluded with good memories and pride for our state language.

On 30th November 2024, a Cartoon Making Competition was held at Marwari Vidyalaya High School, Charni Road. This creative event was organized by the Indian Red Cross Society – Junior/Youth Red Cross, aiming to promote artistic expression and creativity among school students.
In Group II, which included students from Standards V to VII, Udit G. Hodavdekar of Class VII B displayed exceptional artistic skills and creativity, earning him the First Prize.
Additionally, Pranit Surve and Amool Malagi, both also from Class VII B, were recognized for their efforts and were awarded Consolation Prizes.
In Group III, meant for students from Standards VIII to X, Rudra Chile of Class VIII A impressed the judges with his imaginative and well-executed cartoon, securing the First Prize in his category.
