We have framed some disciplinary rules for the overall development of students to make them better citizens. We expect all parents and students to abide by them.

  • Attendance on the re-opening day after every vacation is compulsory, failing which, the name of the student is liable to be struck off from the school register.
  • Regular school timings: 8:20am to 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Strict action will be taken against late-comers.
  • Parents can meet the Principal on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Timing: 10:30am to 12 noon)
  • Students must wear clean and proper uniform daily and P.T uniform every Wednesday. Stylish hair-style is not allowed.
  • Students must bring the school calendar daily. The calendar includes the syllabus and schedule of other activities for the academic year.
  • Parents are expected to read the Rules in the calendar carefully and see that the rules are duly followed.
  • Declaration form given in the calendar should be signed and submitted to the Class Teacher by 25th.
  • Parents must check the calendar daily. Remarks given by the Principal/ Supervisors/ Teachers must be regularly signed by the parents. Students will not be allowed to attend school, unless parents sign the remarks.
  • Open day should be utilised by parents to interact with the class teacher and subject teachers to understand how they can improve the academic performance of their respective wards.
  • Four recent passport-sized coloured photographs in complete school uniform should be submitted to the Class Teacher on the re-opening day of the school by every student.
  • Parents will be allowed to meet the teachers only with prior permission of the Principal.
  • Half day leave is not entertained. In case of an emergency, the child will be allowed to go home only accompanied by parents.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence for more than 3 days, habitual idleness, disobedience or objectionable moral influence, justify dismissal.
  • Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct, both in and outside the school and are liable for disciplinary action.
  • The student will have to pay a penalty for any damage caused to the school property.
  • ‘Pink cards’ may be issued for any serious misbehaviour or habitual breach of discipline or six adverse remarks in the calendar. 3 pink cards during the academic year will result in the dismissal of the pupil from the school.
  • A ‘Yellow Card’ will be issued to a student who comes late thrice in a month and 6 yellow cards during the academic year will lead to suspension of the pupil.
  • Identity Cards should be worn by the students daily to school.
  • It is obligatory for Parents/Guardians to give lunch boxes to their wards. No student will be allowed to leave the school premises during the short break or lunch break (Std. 5th to 8th students) will be given free midday meal.
  • Free textbooks by Government will be given to all students from Std. 5th to 8th.
  • A minimum 75% attendance of the total working days during the academic year is mandatory for promotion. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the child.
  • Decision of the Principal regarding the promotion of a student will be final and binding.
  • Children should read an English newspaper, good English story books/ novels in order to increase their general knowledge and to improve their command.
